The Saga of Hasting the Avenger is Back at the Top!
On November 1 of this year, I received a Bookbub promotion for The Lords of the Wind. Bookbub is a coveted book marketing service that few authors receive, and when they do, it’s a game-changer. I call Bookbub the “Kingmaker” of the book marketing industry.
During the promotion, The Lords of the Wind reached the top spot in the Amazon store’s promotional rankings for two days, and the second book in the series, In the Shadow of the Beast, hit #1 in the bestseller lists for all it’s categories, and crested the top 800 bestselling books on Amazon. What a treat!
As they say in the industry, bestsellers beget bestsellers, and to my utter joy all three tomes of The Saga of Hasting the Avenger have remained at the top of the charts since. It’s big news for me.

The Road to Malheur - Delayed
My latest novel about the American Fur Trade in 1816 hit a snag with my editor, and I’ve had to go back in for a significant rewrite. It’s par for the course in this industry. However, it does mean that the pre-release will be delayed. It is now slated for a December 25th release date rather than December 1st. If it’s possible to release it sooner, I’ll make it happen. Your best bet to get your hands on it the day it’s released is to pre-order on Amazon, and it will be delivered to your device as soon as the publisher publishes it.
There is also an incentive to purchase the book as a pre-order. It’s $2.99 on Kindle for pre-order and will jump to $5.99 when released. So hop on this bandwagon to save some money, too!
